STEVE COX
Horses have been a huge part in Steve Cox's life. From the early age of 8 Steve was riding any horse or pony he could borrow including Trotters, Shetlands, Thoroughbreds... any thing he could get his hands on!
Steve progressed through Pony Club, worked with a professional harness racing stable, competed and judged at Australia's own unique sport, Campdrafting and even judged the Campdrafing competition at EQUITANA.
Twelve years ago Steve's interest turned to the horse entertainment world. Steve sought the best knowledge and training Australia had to offer, which saw him spend extensive time at Heath and Krissy Harris' Mt. White property. He has been professionally training horses for the past 16 years.
Steve has been enjoying entertaining people with his trained liberty horses at shows and events around Australia. His horse Sinatra was one of the stars in the recent Man From Snowy River show in Sydney and his horses have appeared in numerous TV commercials.
Steve offers private lessons and group clinics in starting horses at liberty, regularly turning out horses with improved confidence, more attentive to aids and queues, developing that special connection between horse and handler.
NIRRELLE SOMERVILLE
Nirrelle is an accomplished rider, winning countless Shows and Dressage events over many years.
Having lost a bit of confidence, she bought her horse 'Let’s Intrigue'. This horse was a brood mare, out of work for the previous five years and no longer focused or interested in being ridden again!
Nirrelle fortunately teamed up with Steve and together they have brought a brood mare back to become a top level Dressage horse. She has won over 200 points in Dressage in less than 2 years and is regularly winning at Advanced level.
Nirrelle offers private lessons and her extensive accomplishments in Showing and Dressage has given her the ability to provide students with an in depth knowledge of training and developing both horses and riders to have the confidence to achieve their best results.
